CCS1 & J1772 to NACS

Most Tesla owners buy two separate adapters. One for CCS fast chargers. Another for J1772 Level 2 stations. Together, they cost $80 to $250. This adapter replaces both.

The AFI 2-in-1 handles CCS1 DC fast charging at up to 250kW and J1772 Level 1/2 AC charging in a single unit. On a CCS fast charger, it tops up your Tesla from 10% to 80% in about 25 minutes. Inside, silver-plated copper contacts do the actual work of moving current. Low resistance means less heat. The housing is flame-retardant and IP55 rated against rain, snow, and dust. The adapter monitors its own temperature. If things get too hot during an extended 200kW+ session, it pulls back current to protect your charge port instead of pushing through. That's by design.

• A few things to know before you buy. This adapter works great on Electrify America, ChargePoint, Shell Recharge, EV Connect, and every J1772 Level 1/2 station. EVgo compatibility is limited; some EVgo stations use a proprietary handshake that blocks third-party adapters. For sustained 200kW+ fast charging, the AFI NACS to CCS1 adapter handles sustained high power better.
